The reasons for these quality problems are discussed below.

 

 

The gold layer color of the connector is not consistent with the normal gold layer color, or the gold layer color of different departments in the same set of products is different, the reason for this problem is:

 

1. The influence of impurities in gold-plated raw materials
 

 

When the impurities brought by the chemical substances added to the plating solution exceed the fault tolerance of the gold plating solution, it will quickly affect the color and brightness of the gold plating layer.If it is affected by organic impurities, it will appear that the cash layer darkens and blooms. Check whether the location of the darkening and flowering is fixed with a Hall cell sample. If the metal impurities interfere, the effective range of the current density will be narrowed, and the Hall cell test shows that the current density of the sample is not bright at the low end or the high-end coating is not bright at the low end. Reflected to the plated part, the coating is red or even black, and the color change in the hole is obvious.

 

 

2. Gold plating current density is too high

 

Due to the calculation error of the total area of the plating tank parts, its value is greater than the actual surface area, so that the gold plating current is too large, or its amplitude is too small when using vibration gold plating, so that the gold plating layer in the tank is all or part of the rough crystallization, and the gold plating layer is red visually.
